Acacia was appointed by Fuji Xerox to design, develop and launch two microsites that feature responsive design.
With an endless flow of new mobile devices, it is fast becoming impractical to create a website version for each and every new resolution in order to enhance user experience (UX). This is important because the website is often your first impression to users; poor UX may create an unfavorable impression of your product and services.
Responsive Web Design is an approach where design responds to the user’s behavior and environment based on screen size, platform and orientation. As the user switches from one device to another, the website will automatically switch to accommodate for resolution, image size and scripting abilities. In other words, the website will automatically respond to the user’s preferences, and thereby creating a positive emotional connection to the site for the user.

Retail, F&B and InfoComm SME businesses now supported by DesignSingapore Council's Design Innovation Assistance (DIA) Grant
The newly minted Design Innovation Assistance (DIA) scheme supports Singapore enterprises in adopting design for service innovation, with the following objectives:
a) To enhance business competitiveness;
b) To create differentiated experiences, better products and brand retention; and
c) To improve efficiency with integrated front-line and backend services.
DIA aims to encourage and support Singapore Enterprises towards a Design-driven business. It focuses on the use of Service Design Innovation in the F&B, Retail and InfoComm Service Industries, in order to improve product usability, service experience, brand retention and to elevate the industry standard/quality as a whole. The ultimate goal is to increase Singapore Enterprises’ internationalisation and export opportunities.
The grant supports up to 70% of Singapore-based consultancy fees within the full design value chain (excluding production).
